people laugh.

seriously, what is that?!?

i mean, i want to know how that is. i want to know where it comes from.

it's so insane. i mean, we can't, that i can bring to mind, think of other animals that laugh and joke.

is it to do with self-conciousness?

is it due to the fact that we have internal lives?

we smile, and we laugh, and there are people who dedicate their whole lives (thankfully) to making other people laugh.

and what's weirder is that different things make different people laugh. it's not a universal thing.

i mean, laughing/humor is universal, but not what makes everyone laugh is universal.

like, some people laugh at mr show, and other people laugh at network sitcoms, and still other people laugh when people get hurt.

and there are people who laugh at monty python and others who think it's stupid.

and like, i can't for the life of me see what people liked about andrew dice clay, or like jeff foxworthy, but people LOVED THAT SHIT.

so it's weird, laughing/humor.

but it's so good.

i mean, would you think someone was sane if they didn't prefer laughing over not laughing?

i don't know.

i'd like to study that.
