2004-11-04 & 02:57 : more netflix reviews...assuming i even posted the first ones in here anyway.

i swear to GOD.

i have to learn that just because mark ruffalo is in a movie doesn't mean that it's totally awesome to watch.

you can count on me was awesome, and 13 going on 30 (SHUT UP, DON'T JUDGE ME) was sort of awesome in a guilty pleasure that i don't want feel guilty about but still do feel guilty about because i don't have high enough self esteem kind of way.

but xx/xy was SO FUCKING SHITTY, OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.

it was so fucking shitty, doods. don't see it.

and i don't care how much i wish i was mark ruffalo's wife, i won't watch in the cut, so don't ask me about it, BECAUSE I DON'T FUCKING KNOW.

so i finally have seen da ali g show and it was pretty righteous, but that kind of humor only goes so far for me, even though i will probably rent his movies because i just upgraded my netflix membership and can have 5 movies out at a time. with that many movies to watch in a week, i could squeeze that badness in.

at the rate i am going i will rent about 20-40 movies in a month or something retarded like that, so worth the money, i can't believe i didn't do this sooner.

mostly, though, i watch tv shows that i have wanted to see but missed because of my work schedule and/or the fact i don't have hbo. case in point, i watched the first 6 episodes of arrested development and i like it a lot, i am stoked to watch more. next in queue is freaks and geeks and of course the sopranos (i will watch every single one) and six ft under (i will watch every single one) and of course of course of course, i will watch every single episode of west wing that is out on dvd, and i will probably buy them too, but still.

otherwise i saw spellbound (totally great, people please suggest documentaries because i love them shits) and the perfect score, which was horrible/ok/bad/good/really shitty but still mildly enjoyable in that "i want to have sex with that asian dood" kind of way.

also, i need my landlord to come light the pilot light in my heater, so i cleaned my apt up a lot tonight while watching the mango battle on iron chef, so that's kind of nice.

i need to find some friends to hang out with, doods. and also figure out "financial planning".

i want to grow up but am not good at it. i am listening to the xanadu soundtrack, though, and remembering how much i loved that movie when i was little. there were so many leg warmers in that movie.

pear brandy is good.
