i'm pretty sure i am going back to sleep.

the party last night was really good, it was nice to sit around with the ladies and shoot the shit. well. it was good to sit around with the ladies and listen to them shoot the shit.

i didn't say all that much. i brought an ornament for the ornament exchange, but i didn't know i was supposed to wrap it so it was one of two that were chosen last, both unwrapped. people said it was really cute, without me asking, so i have to assume it was chosen last because people always love a surprise and they love opening presents.

when i chose my (wrapped) ornament and pulled the paper off, it was the ugliest ornament of the whole bunch. i'm not kidding. i know i don't really know about these things not celebrating christmas and all, but it was butt ugly. it was really heavy too. i can't imagine it staying on a tree branch, at least.

i gave the ornament to my team lead because she's a christmas celebrator and for whatever reason she did not bring an ornament so she couldn't choose one. she was really touched and gave me a big hug, so that was nice.

the office ladies were knocking back the white wine in a box and i kept pouring coca-cola down my throat because i never drink when i am driving.

we played christmas pictionary and both times i drew (once for baby jesus and once for pointsetta) my team guessed first. not bad for the jew.
