2004-08-18 & 12:53 a.m. : pdx's and oh's.

snail's here and it's awesome.

it's weird, when i share a bed with my sister i almost never sleep well, but i always rest easy. i woke up at 10am this morning and was like whut whut. it was the same when i was in so cal in june. we shared a bed and though i didn't sleep well, i was always well rested. almost better than when i sleep alone.

we saw the worst movie today, and i cannot admit what it is, because it was heinous.

then we went out to a delightful italian meal, where my sister got all sauced, which is when she gets saucy. my sister is the best, seriously. she's hella funny and wicked nerdy and also really talented and beautiful. she's also about the most straight up person i have ever met in my life. she has little to no internal monologue. if my sister thinks something, you pretty much know what it is.

weirdly, she's also incredibly emotionally smart and i always learn a ton from her about being a good person whenever we talk.

the thing is, being so open about everything, and still so good, shows how pure my sister is. she is not malicious or devious ever. she doesn't leave you wondering if she meant what she said. it's wonderful. i feel so incredibly lucky.

abigail has fallen in love with melia, and melia's a lil slut so she loves her right back.

seriously, best most social sweetest cat ever, doods.

tomorrow snail and i are driving to pdx, and we're not leaving til like 10, so if any of you all wake up early and have suggestions on radical places to go, let me know.

i think we're both most pumped on the drive. the three of us--jon, abigail and i--love nice long drives.

also, we watched the female gymnastics team finals tonight and doods, was it weird and disappointing for you too? americans just hate second place, don't we?

we talked about how we used to watch that movie "nadia" over and over and over and over again, and i remember how when the 84 games were going on we'd push everything out of the way in the living room and pretend we were gymnasts, and also how we were going to marry both mitch gaylord and bart conners. and we actually fought over who was going to marry who, and remember how that was like the one week in your life where "gaylord" wasn't a huge dis?

oh and we also used to pretend to be female wrestlers after we watched this one movie about female wrestlers, and then there was like a whole month where we pretended to be roller derby girls.

in our living room.

oh oh! and then there was the time i made my mom and her friend watch me do a dance i made up to "rio" by duran duran and i fell down during a really crucial move and i almost started crying, and also i remember the time i nearly broke my nose pretending i was jennifer beals in flashdance.

whoah, i got really pumped up there for a minute.

i'll tell you what though, male swimmers, fucking hell. best bodies on men ever. EVAR.

lastly, i am not going to sleep for awhile because i got all sucked into reading this thanks to stefi. i love it.

and i am getting a huge boner for this dood.

anyone with an encyclopedic knowledge of music makes me hard.
