2004-08-19 & 1:21 a.m. : plus his dad had total chicken legs. eugh.

pdx was fucking awesome times!

we had a beautiful drive into oregon, and then went to the oregon museum of science and industry.

it was so cool!

i love museums, but this was totally radical.

i also loved all the kids running around.

this one little girl and i spent a lot of time making orbits in the turbine hall. then my sister and i went into the physics lab and i played with pullies.

there's a lot of stuff to do at omsi. if you live in portland and need someplace radical to go on a date, i recommend omsi.

i wish that we had had time to go into the planetarium.

but we went to the life science exhibit and my sister spent a lot of time of time explaining the central nervous system to me, and at one point this little kid named spencer came over and was talking to us about the tongue and how it's this big muscle and abigail was showing him all the muscles in the face and what they do and his dad got all pissy and was like "spencer come here!" and spencer rolled his eyes and went over to his dad.

his dad didn't even look at him or wait for spencer to get in step with him, he just started whining like a little bitch, "i'm really tired of you not listening to me or coming to me when i call you!" and spencer was right behind him mimicing him and making the talking head sign with his hands behind his dad's back.

spencer was like 8.

spencer was my hero of omsi.

also, snail and i went out for vietnamese food with a good friend and caught up.

then we drove home.

12 hr trip, half of it spent in the car. so awesome!

we talked so much today. it was such a good idea to go.
